Elizabeth Kan

Elizabeth Kan is the staff representative to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and the Nominating Committee. She oversees the Call for Nominations for the selection of the open Board positions and the election of the President-Elect position, in conjunction with the Nominating Committee. Working closely with the CEO and member leadership, she assists with the planning and coordination of the Board and Executive Committee meetings to advance the Society’s strategic priorities. Other governance-related responsibilities include orienting the new Officers and Board members.
 
Kan has been with the Society since October 2000. She has a B.A. in French and Spanish-American Literature from the George Washington University. Previously, she worked with an international company that focused on providing travel assistance and played a key role in establishing new offices internationally and standardizing procedures across all its subsidiaries.
