Helmsley Charitable Trust Abstract Awards in Type 1 Diabetes

About the Awards

The Endocrine Society provides travel grants to attend ENDO, the Society's Annual Meeting.These awards will recognize the outstanding work of trainees and early-career professionals in the field of type 1 diabetes. Recipients will present their research during the annual meeting held on March 28-31, 2020 in San Francisco, CA.

ENDO 2020 Applications are now closed, thank you for sharing your science.
Winners will be notified in mid-December of this year.


Awardee Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be in-training to receive or currently hold an MD, PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degrees(s) and within 10 years of receiving this degree
  • Must be the first and presenting author on the abstract
  • Applicant’s research must be relevant to type 1 diabetes, including but not limited to its mechanism, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, clinical management, and patient education
  • Preference is given to members of the Endocrine Society
  • International applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Travel grant recipients from ENDO 2019 are ineligible
