Endocrine Society Mission Statement

The mission of the Endocrine Society is to advance excellence in endocrinology and promote its essential and integrative role in scientific discovery, medical practice, and human health.

Corporate Liaison Board Mission Statement

The Corporate Liaison Board (CLB) supports the Endocrine Society mission of advancing patient care by:

  • Promoting reciprocal partnerships with the business, medical, and scientific leadership of the respective organizations;
  • Advising of industry trends and needs with strategic objectives of the Society and the Hormone Health Network;
  • Fostering partnerships and collaborations between the Society, the Hormone Health Network, and industry involving projects and services of common interest;
  • Recognizing the scientific and professional contributions of Society members who work in industry;
  • Educating industry colleagues with an interest in endocrinology about the benefit of Society interactions;
  • Encouraging the presentation of industry science at appropriate venues and submission of endocrine manuscripts to Society journals;
  • Identifying industry career paths for trainees.

The Endocrine Society and Hormone Health Network will:

  • Share with industry its current endeavors and plans for the future;
  • Ensure industry continued access to the Society and the Hormone Health Network leadership;
  • Ensure that CLB members have knowledge of all sponsorship opportunities of Society and Hormone Health Network public and professional educational projects;
  • Provide a regular forum for members of the CLB to meet and discuss issues that relate to the relationship between the Society, the Hormone Health Network, and industry;
  • Provide regular correspondence to industry about Society and Health Network activities that relate specifically to industry;
  • Conduct a specialized educational/business program at ENDO to notify industry of activities of the Endocrine Society and the Hormone Health Network;
  • Demonstrate the breadth of the Endocrine Society as opposed to the more narrowly defined societies that represent individual subcategories of endocrinology; and
  • Provide as much access to press coverage opportunities as possible at ENDO.
