O’Hare International Airport

Taxi Service

Both airports offer plentiful taxi service to downtown. Rates range from $40 – $50 from O’Hare, and $30 – $40 from Midway.

Taxis charge a base rate of $2.25 for the first 1/9 mile, plus, $.20 for each additional 1/9 mile. Tolls additional passengers are an extra charge.

It is standard to tip the driver about 15-20% of the fare, plus $1-2 per bag if the driver helps you with luggage. Please note that all fares are subject to change.

Transportation Network Providers (rideshares)

A Transportation Network Provider (TNP), also referred to as a “rideshare” company, provides prearranged transportation services for compensation through an Internet-enabled application or digital platform to connect passengers with drivers of vehicles for hire.

Well-known TNPs, Lyft and Uber operate in and around Chicago.

From O’Hare: loading zones for TNPs are designated on the Upper Level between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2; on the Upper Level between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3; and on the Lower Level of Terminal 5 across from Door 5A. Uber Black and Uber Taxi pick up on the Lower Level only.

From Midway: the loading zone for TNPs is on the Upper Level near Door 1.


Parking at the Convention Center
Lot A is the primary parking lot for shows occurring in the North, South, and West buildings. It is a six-level garage with 2,100 parking spaces and 8' vehicle height clearance located adjacent to the West Building. Covered walkways from Lot A leading directly into McCormick Place and the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place hotel provide added convenience.

The Lot A parking rates are $23.00 for up to 16 hours and $36.00 from 16 to 24 hours (subject to change). There are no in-and-out privileges. Overnight parking is available in Lot A only. Lost tickets will pay the $36.00 overnight fee per day. Credit Cards are accepted at the parking ticket kiosks.

ENDO Shuttle

Complimentary bus service between official ENDO hotels and McCormick Place is available beginning Thursday, March 15, through Tuesday, March 20 for attendees who make room reservations through the official housing company (onPeak). Those who do not make room reservations through the official housing company, must purchase a shuttle bus pass. Shuttle service will not be offered from Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and Marriott Marquis Chicago to McCormick Place, which are directly connected to McCormick Place.

In general buses shuttle attendees from hotels to McCormick Place beginning 7:00 AM until 10:00 AM; and from McCormick Place to hotels from 3:30 PM until 6:30 PM daily.

Due to traffic patterns within the city, buses cannot stop directly in front of all hotels. Guests may have to walk a short distance to another hotel or to a street corner to catch a bus.
