Read the inaugural editorial from Endocrinology’s new Editor-in-Chief, Manuel Tena-Sempere, MD, PhD, outlining the vision for the journal to continue its high-quality standards spanning foundational, translational, and preclinical research investigating endocrine and metabolic function in health and disease while becoming more influential and attractive for a wider array of scientists worldwide. Submissions related to cross-disciplinary and integrative research in emerging areas of endocrine-related investigations are encouraged. Articles generated from scientific meetings, especially ENDO and the Endocrine Society’s recently launched Science Summits, are especially welcome. These initiatives will be further expanded with a new international team of editors, who will seek compelling content and top authors around the world. Members of the Endocrine Society and the Global Endocrine Leadership Coalition can publish in Endocrinology under a standard license for no charge.
