an Endocrine Society Collection

Read our special collection of article highlights of 2025.

The Editors-in-Chief of Endocrinology, The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, Journal of the Endocrine Society, Endocrine Reviews, and JCEM Case Reports extend their thanks to the innovative authors and expert peer reviewers who contributed insights to the success of the journals in 2025. Their contributions will extend scientific understanding and medical possibilities in endocrinology.

To celebrate the quality of the articles published in the past year, the Endocrine Society has selected three articles from issues of each of the journals published in 2025 for their excellence, as assessed by citations, downloads, and recognition from the editors. These articles are a small sample of the corpus of research published annually in Endocrine Society journals.

About Endocrine Society Thematic Issues and Collections

It can be difficult to keep up to date in the rapidly evolving and expanding world of endocrine science. We curate topical collections of research from across our journals, Endocrine Reviews, Endocrinology, Journal of the Endocrine Society, The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, and JCEM Case Reports so that you can easily find and read recent, influential articles on the topics that interest you.

Selection in each Thematic Issue is guided by online metrics, including Altmetric Attention Scores, Featured Article designations, and identification of leading authors and key topics. Several times a year, we publish a new Thematic Issue online and work to highlight and promote endocrine science in the press, through email, on social media and across other distribution channels.
