Basic science articles describe the gaps in research on sex differences and investigate the effects of sex hormones on atherosclerosis progression.
Review articles examine the impact of hormonal treatment of transgender individuals on their physical, psychological, and mental health, and explore transgender physiology and potential therapeutics for metabolic disorders, including type 2 diabetes. Other resources include an update on transgender-specific medial training programs, a perspective article on the benefits of progesterone therapy for transgender women, and a Clinical Practice Guideline on the treatment of gender-incongruent individuals.
