ENDO 2026 International Travel & Visa Information

August 29, 2025

All individuals traveling from outside the United States must apply for entry visas as soon as possible and at least four months prior to the date of travel for ENDO 2026. The most updated information may be found at the U.S. State Department site. Scientists visiting the U.S. may find helpful information at The National Academies of Sciences website. Visa appointment wait times can be found here.

Please do not wait until ENDO 2026 registration opens in early 2026 before applying for a visa. All visitors traveling to the U.S. from visa waiver countries (i.e., Europe, Japan, Australia, etc.) must meet all requirements. If you need more information on the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) or a list of visa waiver countries, click here.

IF you need a Visa letter from the Endocrine Society, please email [email protected] with the subject line: ENDO 2026: Request for Visa Letter.  You must include your official name listed on your passport and mailing address.  We cannot send any letters without this complete information.

Please note the following:

  • We cannot fill out the visa application for you or any of the supporting documentation.
  • We cannot advise you on the type of visa to apply for. It is best to contact the embassy/consulate for consultation.
  • We cannot supply a letter of guarantee.
  • We cannot contact the embassy on your behalf. We can only answer questions sent from the embassy that relate to your participation.
  • An invitation letter does not guarantee you will receive a visa. This decision is at the sole discretion of the embassy/consulate. For this reason, we do offer full refunds of any fees paid with proof of visa denial.
  • Each country requires different documentation. We offer this general letter that covers the majority of the required information requested.

Advance travel planning and early visa application are important. It is recommended that you apply early for your visa.
