Description: Speakers at this 1-day, topic-focused meeting, including selected oral presenters from submitted abstracts, will tackle new and emerging understanding of the roles contributed by antimullerian hormone (AMH) and adiposity on ovarian function and oocyte quality in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and relevant animal models. Talks include rare pathogenic AMH variants in families of women with PCOS, potential roles for AMH in PCOS fetal programming, AMH’s regulation of development and survival of ovarian follicles as well as metabolic function, and the impact of obesity on oocyte quality. The meeting will finish with a debate and audience discussion of the motion: “PCOS pathogenesis: Is AMH a greater villain than testosterone?”
