Our Tailored Meetings Will Help You Reach Your Professional Goals

By Staff

One of our key missions at the Society is to help members achieve their professional goals, whether they’re new to the field or seasoned veterans.

For early career endocrinologists, perhaps no other goal is as important as passing the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) board certification in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.

We know how stressful it can be to take this all-important exam!

That’s why we’re proud to offer Endocrine Review Board (EBR) 2025, our ABIM board preparation course now in its 11th year.

With a live component set for September 5-7, EBR 2025 is more than a standard study guide with access to tutors. It’s a comprehensive, step-by-step program that ensures you’re in top shape to succeed on the exam.

One feature that makes EBR so successful is its ability to reflect the changing focus of the exam each year and anticipate the types of new questions you’ll encounter. This year’s EBR features several new focus areas, including on:

  • Diabetes: The Spectrum of Insulin Insufficiency and Diabetes Complications in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus – Lessons from Adolescents;
  • Obesity/Lipids: The Not Too Good Side of GLP1-based Therapy; and
  • Calcium/Bone: Use of PTH in the Management of Hypoparathyroidism

Success With EBR Requires Your Input

We’re expecting roughly 600 attendees at EBR 2025. We know from experience that attendees who put in the prep work ahead of time will get the most out of the live component in September—and ultimately succeed on the exam.

You can get started today on your road to success. Upon registration, attendees will receive the following materials and resources:

Endocrine Board Review, 17th Edition: A hard copy of the book will be shipped to the address on file by August. This edition includes 220 cases that reflect the style of the board exam, helping you become familiar with the types of questions you will encounter. Exam content areas with their corresponding percentages are:

  • Pituitary Disorders (10%)
  • Lipids, Obesity, and Nutrition (12%)
  • Female Reproduction (7%)
  • Male Reproduction (7%)
  • Diabetes Mellitus and Hypoglycemia (24%)
  • Calcium and Bone Disorders (15%)
  • Thyroid Disorders (15%)

Interactive Practice Exams: Each question is followed by a detailed explanation to reinforce clinical reasoning. You may tailor the practice exams to focus on specific content areas, allowing you to target your preparation where it is needed most.

Panel of Experts: Some of the top leaders in the field will be available online September 5-7 to discuss the cases, answer your questions, and reinforce key concepts.

Completing EBR 2025 provides up to 64 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and 64 ABIM MOC points. We’re very confident that EBR will lead you to success. If you don’t pass the exam, you’ll receive free registration for EBR 2026.
