Publishing your article Open Access in one of the Endocrine Society journals allows you to share your work globally with free online accessibility, while maximizing the article’s visibility, readership, and opportunities for citation.
The Society’s publisher, Oxford University Press (OUP), has Read & Publish agreements with hundreds of institutions worldwide that provide funding for Open Access publication. If you belong to one of these institutions, you may be able to publish Open Access in any of our journals free of charge, with your institution paying the Article Processing Charge (APC).
View this two-minute video for an overview of the Open Access program.
Visit the OUP page for a step-by-step guide, and to find out if your institution participates in the program, as well as which journals are included and if your paper is eligible.
Please state your affiliated institution when you submit your manuscript. All corresponding authors must provide their qualifying institution as their primary affiliation during the initial submission process.
Your manuscript will then go through peer review and, if accepted, you will receive an email with a link to OUP’s licensing and payments system, where you can request use of your institution’s Read & Publish funds, pending approval by your institution.
That’s it! And if your institution does not currently have a Read & Publish agreement in place with OUP, you can send them the Recommendation Form.
