Continue to Enjoy Our Many Benefits Next Year

By Sarah Beidleman, Marketing Manager

As a staff member at the Society, I’m proud to promote the wide range of programs and resources that help our professional members advance in their day-to-day jobs and along their career paths. I always love to hear how members describe the Society as their “professional home,” and to note they have been part of our organization for many, many years.

That’s why our membership renewal campaign each fall is such a pleasure to implement.

We have several programs that make renewing as easy as possible.

  • Renew online, by phone, or fax.
  • Auto Renewal Program allows you to forget about those pesky deadlines to reup each year. With auto renewal, your membership will never lapse, allowing you to continue accessing the benefits that help you accomplish your professional goals.

Membership Confers Significant Price Discounts and Exclusive Benefits

Your membership opens the door to multiple benefits.

Right off the bat, there are significant savings on meetings. Take for instance, ENDO 2025, which will be held July 12-15 in San Francisco, CA. Your annual membership dues more than offset the price of attending this seminal meeting as a nonmember. This is the biggest must-attend meeting of endocrinologists from around the globe.

Membership also saves you hundreds of dollars on our other big annual meetings, including Endocrinology Board Review (EBR) and Clinical Endocrinology Update (CEU). These popular meetings, which took place last month, have helped thousands of rising endocrinologists pass their board exams over the years, and have provided thousands of more practicing clinicians with the latest knowledge on treating endocrine conditions.

But wait, that’s not all!

Membership also saves you hundreds of dollars on two upcoming meetings: the 1st International Conference on Steroid Hormones and Receptors (SHR 2024), taking place October 16-18 in Albuquerque, NM, and the Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare Virtual Summit, taking place online November 8-9.

The advantages of renewing your membership go beyond cost savings. Membership is the pathway to multiple exclusive benefits designed to enhance your knowledge base and career path.

Among these are the Society’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs), which allow you to engage with members who share your endocrine interests. Another is access to EndoForum, our online platform where members can share clinical and scientific cases and research, coordinate study groups, and simply connect with peers and experts, among other things.

Membership also provides you access to our monthly magazine Endocrine News,a weekly Endocrine Society e-newsletter, our suite of journals, the journal podcast Endocrine Feedback Loop, our clinical practice guidelines, and many educational resources in our Center for Learning.

What Members Say

But don’t take my word for it. Members themselves often note how valuable Society membership has been for them professionally and personally. Here are a few comments from our members who joined us at ENDO 2024, June 1-4 in Boston.

  • Alyson Myers, MD: “I would just say if you’re not a part of the Endocrine Society, you definitely should join it. It’s a great organization.  The webinars, the in-person meetings, everything about it has been great. The leadership is really committed to improving health outcomes and closing some of these healthcare disparity gaps that we've seen in the illnesses that we treat.”
  • Dan Frigo, PhD: “It’s a very inclusive society, much more so than other large societies that I have been a part of. But it’s certainly big enough that it gives you a diverse range of topics and ample opportunities to be involved in various aspects of the organization. You get plenty of experience with leadership positions, and helping put together meetings like ENDO, for example. And it certainly helps to meet so many different people along the way. That, in and of itself, is a benefit.”
  • Ana Rivadeneira, MD: The Endocrine Society is my professional family… it opened a lot of doors. It’s like a family of people that are advocating for you, trying to sponsor you, propose you for things, and the Endocrine Society gave that opportunity to somebody like me, and I am really happy being part of Endocrine Society for that reason.”
