Planning for ENDO each year is no easy feat. The largest, most prestigious international meeting in endocrinology attracts roughly 7,000 attendees who take in approximately 200 educational sessions, view more than 2,500 academic abstracts, interact with over 100 industry partners, and enjoy many, many networking activities.
Putting this together takes serious planning. Already we’re laying the groundwork for ENDO 2027, which takes place June 5-7 in the beautiful city of Toronto, Canada.
Thankfully, we have many volunteer experts who are working to ensure this will be another exciting and memorable meeting. On August 23-25, 38 members of the Annual Meeting Steering Committee (AMSC) took over our headquarters in Washington, DC, for the crucial tasks of creating the next ENDO’s educational program.
The excitement of the group was palpable.
During the meeting, AMSC members received updates on ENDO 2026 to help inform their planning for ENDO 2027. They also received instructions on how to create a balanced program that will provide valuable learnings for both our clinical and research members.
From there, the AMSC members broke into small, topical groups, facilitated by Society staff, to brainstorm session ideas on the latest and most exciting topics in our field. The process once again was helped by interns from the FLARE and ExCEL programs, who each year offer their early-career perspectives on programming. At times, every corner of Society headquarters buzzed with energy and creative activity.
By the end of the meeting, plans were in place for roughly 75% of the ENDO 2027 education program.
The all-important Plenary Sessions have been selected. We’re looking forward to unveiling the speakers in an upcoming video announcement.
Plans also are well underway for approximately 52 symposia, spanning basic, clinical, and translational endocrinology. And roughly 42 Meet the Professor sessions, covering a broad range of clinical topics.
The next phase of AMSC planning will focus on refining session details and inviting speakers.

Your guidance and knowledge are crucial to creating a successful meeting. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to our Society colleagues who helped support this AMSC meeting.
There is still plenty of work ahead, but we're excited to see the ENDO 2027 program taking shape!
