Anders Carlson, MD earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed a residency in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He received advanced training in endocrinology and metabolism through a fellowship at the University of Vermont. He is Medical Director of the International Diabetes Center at Park Nicollet, Director of the HealthPartners Diabetes Program, and an assistant professor in the University of Minnesota Medical School. Board certified in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, Dr. Carlson specializes in diabetes technology and is actively participating in several closed loop insulin delivery and CGM studies. His other research interests are in diabetes care delivery, new analog insulins, and hyperglycemia in oncology patients.
