Don O. Kikkawa, MD, FACS is The Dr. Trude Kahn Hollander Chair of Ophthalmology in the UC San Diego Viterbi Family Department of Ophthalmology and Shiley Eye Institute in La Jolla. He also serves as Vice Chairman and Chief of the Division of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and holds a joint appointment as Professor of Surgery in the UC San Diego Division of Plastic Surgery.
He is currently Director of the UCSD Oculoplastics Fellowship and is a former Program Director of UCSD’s Residency Program. He is a past President of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) and presently serves on the Board of Trustees for the ASOPRS Foundation, the Editorial Board of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal and is a Board Director for the American Board of Ophthalmology.
