Jennifer Sipos, MD

Jennifer Sipos, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine at and is the Director of Benign Thyroid Disorders Program at The Ohio State University. She obtained her medical degree and Internal Medicine residency training at Wake Forest University. She completed her Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

Dr. Sipos has developed an interest in the use of ultrasonography for the diagnosis and management of thyroid cancer. She is actively involved in teaching the use of ultrasonography for examination of the neck to clinicians and fellows at the national meetings of the American Thyroid Association and the Endocrine Society. She has also taught internationally, at meetings for the European Thyroid Association, the Asia and Oceania Thyroid Association, and the Indian Endocrine Society. She is also involved in clinical research with a particular interest in targeted molecular therapies for refractory thyroid cancer and salivary damage after radioiodine therapy.
