Basic science studies demonstrate that SIRT1 impacts reproductive cycles in response to calorie restriction, use mouse models to investigate how maternal obesity and androgen exposure affect the microbiome of offspring, and investigate how maternal high-fat diets may cause placental dysfunction.
Additional studies provide insight into how gestational diabetes causes subfertility in female offspring, describe an in vitro human first-trimester gonadal model system, and explore the impact of circadian dysregulation on women with PCOS.
