Session Description: Interactive session of various clinical scenarios and dilemmas occurring in the management of suspicious adrenal masses based on recent data and clinical expertise, which can be helpful in decision making from both endocrine and endocrine surgeon perspectives.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss the role of diagnostic tests including imaging characteristics, hormonal evaluation, and novel methods (steroid metabolomics) in setting of suspicious adrenal masses from the standpoints of endocrinologist and surgeon.
  2. Explain the indications and shortcomings of the performance of adrenal biopsy in suspicious adrenal mass from endocrine and surgical standpoints.
  3. Recognize the important factors which determine the particular surgical approach to adrenal mass from the surgical perspective.
