As a chair/moderator at ENDO 2025, you are responsible for leading the session. In this role you will:
- Arrive in the session room at least 15 minutes before the session starts.
- Ensure that presentations start on time. A timer will be available.
- Remind attendees to silence their electronic devices.
- Moderate questions by inviting attendees to approach the aisle mic or submit questions via the ENDO Mobile App. There will be a laptop available at the head table to monitor questions that are submitted via the app. See instructions below.
- To prompt attendees to submit questions via the mobile app, instruct them to select the “Submit your questions” link on the session listing for the mobile app.
- Remind attendees to respect the science and that presentations should not be recorded without the presenter’s permission.
Moderated QA via Mobile App
Attendees are able to submit questions via the ENDO 2025 mobile app.
To moderate questions submitted via the ENDO Mobile App, follow the process below.
Navigate to https://portal.ativ.me/. The mobile app site will likely already be set up on the laptop in the session room. If not, the login information will be provided onsite.
Once the moderation site is open, select the tab representing the day of your session. Select your session from the list of events displayed.
The session listing will display submitted questions. Questions are displayed in the order that they are submitted.
To answer questions, you can either choose to read the question to the speaker(s) or, select “Answer Question.” Submit your response and select Publish.
Reminders
- Presenters will be able to respond to questions until Thursday, July 31, 2025
- Questions are anonymous and the audience cannot see submitted questions unless you decide to post the answers.
- Speakers are not expected to continue answering questions after the session ends. However, you have the option to do so.
- The information for the moderation system is confidential – do not share the log-in information or link.
- Once the session ends, you can email session questions to yourself using the appropriate link in the moderation site.
