Washington, DC December 11, 2018

Event to feature innovations in diabetes, obesity, bone health, reproduction and more

Members of the media can now register to cover the latest advances in hormone health and science at ENDO 2019. The Endocrine Society’s annual meeting will be held March 23-26, 2019 in New Orleans, La.

ENDO 2019 offers journalists the opportunity to discuss groundbreaking research with world-renowned experts in diverse fields, including obesity, diabetes, reproductive health, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, menopause, bone health and thyroid cancer. The meeting is considered the gold standard of leading global conferences in endocrinology research and clinical care. The event is expected to draw 8,500 people from all over the world to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

Scheduled speakers include Francis S. Collins, M.D., Ph.D., Director of the National Institutes of Health; former U.S. Food & Drug Administration Commission Robert Califf, M.D.; and head of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative’s science work, Cori Bargmann, Ph.D.

The Society will host several press conferences on-site and distribute press releases on scientific findings being released at the premier event on hormone research, health science and endocrinology.

For public information officers, ENDO provides a global stage to share research with reporters through press releases and participation by scientists in news conferences.
