Endocrine Self-Assessment Program (ESAP™) 2026 is the gold standard, annual, case-based learning system for endocrinologists who want to strengthen clinical judgment, identify knowledge gaps, and stay aligned with current standards of care.
Developed by the Endocrine Society, ESAP™ reflects how endocrinology is practiced today. This resource is written in English and is designed for endocrinologist and healthcare practitioners around the world. You work through realistic patient cases across endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism that mirror the decisions you make in clinic.
Designed for continuous study throughout the year, this program fits into busy clinical schedules and supports confident decision making, one case at a time.
ESAP™ supports endocrinologists worldwide and at every career stage. It helps fellows prepare for independent practice, strengthens confidence for early career physicians, and offers established clinicians an effective way to refine and update their expertise. It also serves international endocrinologists who want high quality education in English that reflects current clinical guidelines.
The 2026 edition offers 120 cases drawn from real endocrine care. Each case guides you through patient history, laboratory findings, and clinical context, followed by clear and comprehensive explanations that strengthen your diagnostic skills and support confident clinical decision making.
Every ESAP™ 2026 purchase includes access to online learning modes and the mobile app through the Endocrine Society Center for Learning, along with progress tracking and reporting to monitor completion and credits.
ESAP™2026 offers an eBook option that provides instant access anywhere you learn, with no shipping required. It is an especially helpful choice for international learners who want to avoid delivery delays or added costs while still receiving the complete learning experience with mobile app access. Credits are available until December 31, 2028
ESAP™ 2026 helps you learn throughout the year. It fits into clinical work. Cases strengthen decision making, reveal knowledge gaps early, and reinforce evidence-based care. You can also earn CME and MOC credit by completing ESAP with a passing score. Choose ESAP if you want to stay current, build confidence, and keep learning alongside patient care.
Endocrine Board Review (EBR) prepares you for the ABIM Endocrinology exams. It is an intense online program for clinicians taking board certification exam for the first time or recertification. Use EBR for focused, long-term study when an exam date is approaching.
Many endocrinologists use both. ESAP supports steady learning across the year and helps you earn credit. EBR helps you prepare when you are sitting for the ABIM exam.
The Endocrine Society is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Endocrine Society has achieved Accreditation with Commendation.
