The symposium will bring together basic, translational, and clinical scientists from different disciplines who study the molecular biology, physiology, and pathophysiology of the CaSR and clinical disorders of CaSR function.

Registration deadline: February 28, 2015

The program will feature recent research on the role of the CaSR in skeletal development and physiology, vascular and pulmonary functions, neuronal injury, neuroendocrine control mechanisms, parathyroid physiology, mineral and energy metabolism, exocrine and transport functions in the gut and kidney, and cancer cell signalling. Clinical uses of CaSR modulators to treat human disorders, evolutionary aspects of the CaSR, and interactions between the CaSR and vitamin D will be highlights.

The program will include lectures from keynote speakers, oral abstract presentations, poster discussion sessions, and forums for young investigators to meet senior experts.

Abstract deadline: January 30, 2015
