Abstract Information

Late-breaking Abstract Submission is now CLOSED. Late-breaking abstracts presenters will be notified of the status of their submission in May.

ENDO 2023 presenters can stay up-to-date on their submission by visiting the ENDO Presenter Portal.  Access the ENDO Presenter Portal to:

  • Review the acceptance status of your submission
  • Review your assigned presentation day and time
  • View a copy of your submission
  • Print a receipt for your submission fee
  • Review all Endocrine Society communications regarding your submission

ENDO 2023 will take place on June 15-18, 2023, in Chicago, IL. Read the following Abstract Submission Guidelines prior to submitting your abstract. If you have any questions, email [email protected]Before proceeding with submission, review the submission guidelines and instructions.

  • Abstract submission does not automatically register you for ENDO. Presenting authors must be registered for your abstract to be included in the ENDO 2023 program.
  • All submissions require payment of the non-refundable $150 abstract handling fee.
  • Receipts for the non-refundable $150 abstract handling fee are available within the abstract submission site. To access, login with your endocrine.org username and password. 
  • The abstract character limit is 2,500 characters, including punctuation and symbols, but not spaces.
  • Submitting authors may log into the site to edit their abstract up until the abstract submission deadline. NO REVISIONS to the abstract or the list of authors will be allowed once the site closes on the deadline date. 
  • Late-breaking abstract notifications will be emailed to presenting authors only in mid-May. Presenting authors are responsible for communicating the presentation status of their abstract with their co-authors.

  • All accepted abstracts will also be published in a supplemental issue of the Open Access Journal of the Endocrine Society (JES).

  • Outstanding investigators are eligible to receive abstract-based awards for exemplary submissions.

ENDO 2023 Abstract Embargo Policy

Unless otherwise noted, all abstracts presented at ENDO must not be released to the press or the public until the date and time of presentation. For oral presentations, the abstracts are embargoed until the session begins. Abstracts presented at a news conference are embargoed until the date and time of the news conference. The Endocrine Society reserves the right to lift the embargo on specific abstracts that are selected for promotion prior to or during ENDO.
