Specific Aims Critique Sessions

Need help fine tuning your grant Specific Aims? The Endocrine Society offers the Specific Aims Critique Sessions at ENDO 2019, specifically tailored sessions to enhance the preparation of in-training and early career professionals pursuing endocrine-related careers in basic science and clinical research by providing personalized feedback on NIH grant proposal Specific Aims.

Through a “match” system, we connect trainees and early career members with more senior faculty who can help evaluate and critique the all-important specific aims page of an upcoming grant. Matches are connected and specific aims reviewed prior to attending ENDO. While at ENDO, the trainee/early career member and senior faculty meet to review the critique together. Following ENDO, a final review of the revised specific aims is offered.

This one-on-one feedback provides a unique opportunity to have fresh eyes review and suggest improvements before the late-spring/summer cycle of K and F awards submissions are due.

To participate, check the box for “Specific Aims Critique Sessions” on your ENDO registration. The registration deadline was January 18, 2019.
